Forced to
live in such a place,
With tears
staining her tiny face.
She stood and
begged, as before,
“Daddy,
please don’t hurt Mommy anymore.”
She wants to
help, but she’s too small,
She’s not
allowed to tell anyone at all.
She sees
Daddy put Mommy on the floor,
Now Mommy
can’t take anymore.
Out comes the
knife and the gun,
As she sees
Mommy run.
She has to
say she didn’t see,
She says, “If
I say I did, he’ll beat me.”
All the
things her parents do,
Are too much
for a little girl to go through.
Now she has
neither Mom nor Dad,
She is so
very sad.
No one heard
her Mommy’s pleas,
So her Mommy
had to leave.
She wishes
her Mommy could’ve stayed,
But she will
see her again some day.
